About Sponsorship
Guild invites members to apply for a donation from the limited funds available to support challenging projects which fulfil the following criteria:
The award will be made to Guild members who are planning a project in accordance with the following criteria:
- The project should include a course of study, research, training or life-enhancing experience.
- There must be some form of service to the community or to the environment.
- The applicant must show that she is in need of financial assistance or must raise funds to carry out the project.
- The project must be carried out within two years of applying for a donation.
- A project report must be submitted to Guild within six months of completion.
- Awards cannot be made to members to support degree courses, which do not comply with the above.
Awards will range up to £350 and the number will be limited by the amount of funds available each year.
Please note that, for fairness and efficiency, applications will only be assessed twice a year, in January and July and at other times solely at Guild's discretion.
