ASSISTANT FOR MARTHA LANE FOX

Martha Lane Fox is looking for a new assistant to work with her executive assistant.   They would work with Lily to help with the enormous amount of requests and ideas coming through for digital inclusion.  

She's looking for "a bright, ambitious 20 - 25ish year old that wants to work with us helping across all the admin.  A 22 - 25k role. Its fun, chaotic and will be great experience." It would be great experience working with Martha and ideal for someone excited about the potential of digital technologies transforming opportunities for people.

WORK PLACEMENTS WITH DISABLED PEOPLE

Through a Guild contact the opportunity has arisen for several placements during the summer and in gap years with an organisation called Vitalise http://www.vitalise.org.uk/Home-Page.aspx. The link shows you where their holiday centres are based. To apply you should complete the booking form and must be over 16. http://www.vitalise.org.uk/Volunteer/Register-to-Volunteer.aspx. Vince Pizzoni has spoken to the UK Voluntary Manager and he will be looking out for your applications.

This work experience would be particularly beneficial for any guild members considering a career in medicine, nursing, psychology etc but also anyone who wants to give their services to a very good cause. Vitalise will offer you free board and lodging.

LAW WORK PLACEMENT IN LONDON

Please find below another opportunity for getting law placements in London. This is a specialised area so it may not appeal to everyone thinking of law but it will be interesting to experience a different area.
